Abstract

The Children's Theatre of Evanston Records, 50 linear feet, contain materials documenting the Children's Theatre of Evanston's youth theatre productions and its involvement with Evanston's intermediate and elementary school creative dramatics programs, from 1925-1976. The majority of the records consist of production materials, an extensive playscripts library and numerous scrapbooks noting the major accomplishments of the youth theatre company.

The Childsplay Records, 256.5 linear feet, contain the organizational records of Childsplay, a professional theatre company for young audiences, from 1976 through 2008. It is divided into the following series: Organizational History, Management, Production, Education, Resource Library, Audiovisual Materials, and Ephemera. The series are divided into sub-series and these frequently are sorted into additional groupings.
