Scope and Content Note From the collection: The Father Augustine Schwarz Photograph Collection contains 163 photographs taken between 1916 and 1940, the majority of which were taken between 1916 and 1926 and document Franciscan chapels, missions, and religious activities at numerous Indian villages in Arizona. Several photographs were recorded by Fr. Augustine's brother, Father Arnold Schwarz, O.F.M.
