Segments on Arizona Legislature issues (legislators' per diem reduced by half, unresolved topics such as health care for chronic mental illness and artificial lake construction), Bommersbach's Byline (a proposed state holiday for Martin Luther King Jr.), and the North American Symposium on Depression (sleep/depression connection). There is a pre-show take for the first minute; the title card is then shown and the episode continues normally.
