Scope and Content Note
This collection houses annual reports, statistical reports, faculty information, correspondence, committee records, and other materials documenting William W. Phillips's American history research and Arizona State University's Department of History and College of Liberal Arts. Among the subjects discussed are North Dakota history; constitutional history; such historical figures as Martin Luther, Abraham Lincoln, Asle Gronna, Benjamin Franklin Daniels, and Barry Goldwater; Professor Morris Starsky's termination; and the centennial of the College of Liberal Arts. This collection has not been processed in full and can be viewed only by appointment. Contact Ask an Archivist for more information.
