Access Restrictions
Portions of the collection are restricted as follows:
- Constituent correspondence is restricted for 50 years from the date of creation.
- Constituent casework and "issue mail" (correspondence and casework) are restricted for 75 years from the date of creation.
- House Committee records are closed for 30 years from the date of creation; Senate Committee records are closed for 20 years from the date of creation.
- Records regarding national security, investigations, and the privacy of living individuals are closed for 50 years from the date of creation.
Materials in this collection can only be viewed by appointment in the Wurzburger Reading Room at Hayden Library (rm. 138). Patrons will be asked to sign an end user agreement (https://libguides.asu.edu/arizonacollection) before access is granted. Digitization is not available for this collection, but patrons may use personal cameras or phone cameras without flash to capture images of materials. Personal scanning equipment is not permitted. We are currently limiting each patron to 10 boxes per day.
