Montezuma, Carlos, 1866-1923

The Oren Arnold Papers are comprised of composition manuscripts, outlines, galley proofs, dust jackets and correspondence relating to the creation and publication of his fiction and non-fiction works from 1951-1970.

The William C. Barnes Papers are comprised of an undated typescript draft of his autobiography and a typescript list of illustrations for the work.

The Peter Iverson Collection consists primarily of research materials collected to support Iverson's various publications. These materials date from the late 1800s to the early 2000s. Also included are materials documenting Iverson's teaching experience at Diné College between 1969 and 1972 and papers showing the 1991 White House Conference on Indian Education. The collection is arranged in seven series.

The Carlos Montezuma Collection houses correspondence, speeches, printed materials, and financial records documenting the life of an urban physician and Indian rights activist. Although the collection extends from 1887 to 1980, the bulk of the collection concerns Montezuma's activism from 1877 to 1922.
