Preliminary Inventory of the Office of the President Records
This collection houses records documenting J. Russell Nelson's term as President of Arizona State University. Although the materials in this collection date from 1931 to 1991, the majority were created during the 1980s. This collection has not been processed in full and can be viewed only by appointment. Office of the President Records
The Office of the President Records of Arizona State University consist of records received from six principals and six presidents of Arizona State University and predecessor institutions, including the Arizona Territorial Normal School, Tempe Normal School, Arizona State Teacher's College, and Arizona State College. The collection also includes personal papers and research materials collected and compiled by the University Archives staff.
Office of the President (Schwada) Records
This collection houses correspondence, memoranda, and printed matter documenting the affairs of the executive office of Arizona State University. Although the material dates from 1961 to 1984, the majority of the collection addresses the activities of President John W. Schwada during his tenure (1971-1981). The collection has been divided into two series.
