Southwest is a guide to the photographs taken in Arizona by photographers of the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, Farm Security Administration, and the U.S. Office of War Information, which attempted to create a sociological and economic survey of all aspects of life in America in order to create public awareness of the realities of the great economic and agricultural depressions of the 1930s.
