The Kevin Gover Papers house 1,612 photographs, daily calendars, news clippings, personal correspondence, programs, speeches, video recordings, awards, and framed photographs collected between January 1997 and January 2001, during which time Gover served as Assistant Secretary of the Interior under Secretary Bruce Babbitt. These materials are arranged chronologically by date.

The Carlos Montezuma Collection houses correspondence, speeches, printed materials, and financial records documenting the life of an urban physician and Indian rights activist. Although the collection extends from 1887 to 1980, the bulk of the collection concerns Montezuma's activism from 1877 to 1922.

This collection houses publications discussing a variety of issues in the context of Native American populations, including education, Western and traditional medicine, child abuse prevention, legal matters, alcoholism and drug abuse, and race relations.
