The Elizabeth Brandt Collection mainly contains research materials collected by Brandt to conduct a study on the conditions surrounding Navajo high student dropouts from 1985 to 1986. Abstract

This collection houses books, diaries, notes, correspondence, artwork, botanical specimens, audio tapes, and a photocopy of the Apache dictionary manuscript documenting Rev. F. A. Uplegger's work with the Apache people and their language. This collection has not been processed in full and can be viewed only by appointment.
