The Inter Tribal Council of Arizona Records contain meeting minutes, progress reports, resolutions, letters, and speeches from the Commission of Indian Affairs and Governor's Documents showing the Council's work toward unifying various American Indian tribes in Arizona in order to raise concerns and address issues that impact all American Indians in the state.

Box 1 contains the original report of the Inter Tribal Council of Arizona Records as well as meeting minutes from the Commission of Indian Affairs dating from April 22, 1955 to September 27, 1977.

Box 2 contains various Governor's Documents, including notices and information regarding joint meetings, speeches, letters, advisory opinion questionnaires, and committee minutes. It also contains materials from the Commission of Indian Affairs, including progress reports, letters, speeches, and resolutions.
