This collection houses nine photographs depicting the Rodriguez, Manriquez, and Ramirez families of Sonora, Arizona. Many of the images show individuals who served in World War II. All of the photographs in this collection are reproductions of the originals made in 2009.

Biographical Note
Socorro Rodriguez was born to Francisco (1897-1932) and Jovita (Manriquez) Rodriguez (1905-1941) in Arizona in 1925. She had one brother, Paul Manriquez (1927-), and one half-brother, Felix Manriquez (1937-2011). Her father worked in the copper mines of Sonora, Arizona and died of tuberculosis in 1932. Socorro Rodriguez married Rubin Lee McMillan (1917-1991) and the couple had four children.
