Letticia Galindo's teaching and research in linguistics at Arizona State University. This collection has not been processed in full and can be viewed only by appointment. Biographical Note
Delma Letticia Galindo was born in Texas in 1952. She earned her PhD in Foreign Language Education and Applied Linguistics from the University of Texas at Austin in 1987 and came to Arizona State University as an Associate Professor of Spanish in the Department of Languages and Literature in 1990. Here, she specialized in bilingualism, Spanish in the Southwest, and second language acquisition. Galindo continued to teach until shortly before her death from cancer on October 17, 1998. She was survived by her son, George.
