100 Modern American Poets Reading Their Poems

 File — Box: 5, Cassette: 348

Scope and Content Note

From the collection:

The majority of the cassette tapes in this collection are recordings that Dorothy R. Lykes made at poetry readings. Most of these events featured poets reading their own work, readings of other poets' works, or readings conducted as part of the Master of Fine Arts program at Arizona State University. Many of these readings took place at such local venues as the Changing Hands Bookstore, the MARS Gallery, Encanto Park, and Arizona State University. A few recordings were commercially produced.
