The Chatauqua Industrial Art Desk, given by ASU professor emeritus Clyde Watson to Peter Smith in 1985. ). Publications document the history, functions and purposes of the desk: 1913 editions of "Home Teacher" (the desk manual) "Child Life" (a related activity book) and a 1989 edition of Art Education with Smith’s article about the desk. Eight 8" x 10" mounted glossy photos and fifteen 35mm slides made by Walter Pinto for the 1989 article.
