Biographical Note

Richard Jarvis Dick Fleming was born in Ohio but lived in Arizona for much of his adult life. He earned his B.A. and M.A. from Arizona State University, worked as a reporter for the Eloy (Arizona) Enterprise, and taught English in the Arizona public school system for seventeen years. After leaving teaching, he settled in Santa Fe, New Mexico where he became a full-time writer, amateur printer, and proprietor of the Flying Coffin Press.
