Scope and Content Note From the collection: The John C. Provost Papers contain correspondence, reports, minutes, certificates, news clippings, financial records, ephemeral publications, and memorabilia ranging in date from 1895 to 1973. The bulk of the material dates from 1895 to 1931 and either records the results of mining operations or describes the organization of a labor union.
