In 1963 she became a leader of the Arizona branch of the Welfare Rights Organization, which later changed its name to Human Rights of Arizona, Inc. Human Rights of Arizona is a non profit corporation which is principally involved with advocacy for private persons needing social services, and in advising governmental bodies which administer such services. Its work is ongoing, but this collection documents its efforts during the period 1963 to 1989.
