Scope and Content Note
The Oren Arnold Papers are comprised of composition manuscripts, outlines, galley proofs, dust jackets and correspondence relating to the creation and publication of his fiction and non-fiction works from 1951-1970. The composition manuscripts contain numerous holograph notations, additions and deletions. Of particular interest are The Golden Strand, an informal history of the Rotary Club of Chicago, and Savage Son, a biography of the Native American activist Carlos Montezuma.
