Series II: The Family, 1917-1933

Principally snapshots, but some commercial postcards, made on automobile trips by the Uplegger family, including principally Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Many photographs of the landscape and tourist attractions, including the Apache Trail, Indian reservations, Bryce Canyon National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Shosone Dam and Reservoir, the Grand Tetons, and the Crystal Cave in the Black Hills of South Dakota. A few images associated with the Lutheran church, including Concordia Teacher's College in River Forest, Illinois, the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Seminary in Thiensville, Wisconsin, and the Lutheran Sanatorium in Wheatridge, Colorado are present. Many snapshots of the family and acquaintances.
