Scope and Content Note
The John J. Rhodes Press Office Files house correspondence, press releases, congressional testimony, transcripts of television and radio shows, newsclippings, record statements, administrative records, and publications documenting Rhodes' positions on a wide variety of issues facing Arizona and the nation between 1973 and 1983. Among the issues represented are taxation, Watergate, foreign affairs (including the Iranian Hostage Crisis), water resources development, the Central Arizona Project, health care, and energy.
