The George W. Lennard Collection houses correspondence, orders, envelopes, an artifact, and a reprinted journal article dating from 1861 to 1980. The bulk of the collection is comprised of personal letters that Lennard wrote to his wife and family while serving with the 57th Indiana Volunteer Infantry from 1861 to 1864.
