This collection houses a variety of materials documenting Carolyn Warner's political career, including her service as Superintendent of Public Instruction (1974-1986), her participation in the effort to recall Arizona Governor Evan Mecham (1988), her campaign for the U.S. Senate (1976), her campaigns for Governor of Arizona (1986 and 1988), and her work with the National Skill Standards Board (NSSB).
