The Jacque and Fred Steiner Papers consist of records documenting Jacque Steiner's political career and civic and community involvement as well as Fred Steiner's legal and writing career.

Series I: Civic, Political and Education Materials (Boxes 1-11) includes the local, state and national organizations that Jacque actively participated in during her public service career.

Series II: Law Firm, Snell & Wilmer (Boxes 12-17) includes correspondence, court cases, firm history, journal articles, copies of Spindrift, and materials written by Fred Steiner. The terms Havasu Lake Betterment Association Inc. and Havasu Landing Homeowners Association appear to be used interchangeably in this series and represent several individuals and organizations.

Series III: Political Papers (Boxes 18-26) includes materials supporting Jacque Steiner's political campaigns and documenting her work in the Arizona Senate and Legislature, the Sandra Day O'Connor Statue Project, and her tenure during the Evan Mecham Impeachment hearings.

Series IV: Speeches/Remarks (Boxes 27-28) contains political, civic, and informal speeches and remarks, panel discussions, and classroom presentations by the Steiners and others.

Series V: Personal Papers of Jacque and Fred Steiner (Boxes 29-31) includes biographical information, correspondence, cards and notes, memorabilia, and items written by the Steiners.

Series VI: Publications (Boxes 32-41) contains a vast number of published and unpublished monographs, journal articles, reports, pamphlets, brochures, and items written by the Steiners and others that were used to support public speaking and in Jacque Steiner's political research.

Series VII: Audio and Visual Material (Boxes 42-47) contains a wide range of images (over 850 photographs, VHS and cassette tapes) providing significant support to the written materials in this collection. Due to the number of photographs included, some duplication may appear.

Series VIII: Oversized (OV) Materials (Box 48) includes supplemental items pertinent to the collection that require special housing due to their size. One item may be found in the map case.
