Abstract

This collection houses approximately 928 photographs showing the Arizona Biltmore's physical facilities, including construction, grounds, interiors, aerial views, and building façades; guests; and recreational activities, including golf, tennis, horseback riding, swimming, and fashion shows. It has been divided into eight series. Only those images that have been digitized are described individually in this guide.

This artificial collection houses tourist and souvenir views of towns and sites around Arizona, including many mining towns and resorts. Most of the images show street scenes, skylines, or principal buildings. Many of the photographs were made by Frasher's Foto.

Abstract

This photograph album houses snapshot views of Arizona, primarily Maricopa County. Images include street scenes depicting downtown Phoenix, the Maricopa County Courthouse, the Arizona State Capitol, the Arizona Canal, the Mormon temple in Mesa, the Rock House at the Grand Canyon, and the construction of the Arizona Biltmore. Also present are two postcards by H. Locke.
